I was scrolling instagram stories of people running 17 min 5km PBs,
I wanted an adventure, to escape from the pressure of times,
Times weren’t fulfilling me, it felt lonely...
I thought that creativity and mindfulness had to be separate from running,
I started doing more breathwork and pre-run intention setting,
Then I gathered some people to make a team for an ultra relay,
We had some funny encounters, made really great friends and saw a beautiful part of the world,
We were running for the experience, for the friendships and not the times or the position,
Why hadn’t I tried earlier?
Intimidated, unsure, I didn’t know if I could manage this kind of distance,
Turns out, I can and so can you.
How do you start?
